Jaipur.

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan is a wonderful tourist attraction in Rajasthan. The Pink City of Jaipur has a number of architectural wonders that attract tourists from all over the country and abroad. Most of the foreign tourists, who come to India, also tour this city of majestic forts and beautiful havelis. Jaipur lies in the state of Rajasthan and is about 258 kilometres from Delhi, the capital of India. Jaipur Hub takes you on a tour of various tourist attractions in and around Jaipur. It was in 1727, Swai Jai Singh with his architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya founded the Jaipur city. The city was built adhering to the principles of Shilpa Shastra and thus become the first planned city of India. The city follows grid system with wide straight roads, streets and lanes.

Amber Fort.

Located 12 kilometers from the center of Jaipur city is the impressive Amber Fort. The Fort was originally built by Raja Mansingh and significant additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture, it was the ancient capital of the Kaisshawah rulers. Enjoy the ascent to the palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. Visit the chambers and hallways of the Palace which are famous for their design and decorations.


Hawa Maha.
Hawa Mahal is one of the most common and popular tourist attractions in Jaipur. Hawa Mahal was basically used as a veil by the royal women folk to watch the proceedings on the road below. Today it is the one of most visited monuments in Jaipur. The City Palace is another beautiful landmark that was built by Kachchwah Rajput rulers of Jaipur. The City Palace is a classic example of Mughal and Rajput architecture. A part of the palace today is museum that houses a collection of rare manuscripts, weapons, Mughal carpets and costumes, and Mughal and Rajasthani miniatures. Jaipur is the pristine jewel in the desert sands of Rajasthan. With its origin burned deep into the pages of history, the city still exudes a magical charm, an ambience of chivalry and romance ever present in its culture. Widely known as the Pink City, Jaipur was constructed in the early eighteenth century and named after one of its greatest rulers, Maharaja Jai Singh II. The king and his architect built this city using ancient Hindu principles of civic planning and design and the city of Jaipur is very well laid out, with broad and open streets.


City Palace.
Jaipur city is known for its many palaces and forts, which are a major attraction for tourists to Rajasthan. One of these major landmarks of the 'pink city' is the City Palace Complex. The City Palace was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of the Kachhwaha clan of Rajputs, but a lot of changes and additions were made to the original structure by his successors.

The architecture of the City Palace is a synthesis of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. The Complex comprises of many structures, courtyards, gardens and buildings. There are many splendid small palaces and halls in the complex, such as the Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal and Badal Mahal. There is also a famous temple called the Shri Govind Temple and a museum inside, named the City Palece Museum.
